Working at Zara has a few perks, number one being all the new clothes I see coming in on a weekly basis. Meaning not only do I know whats going to be trending every season before the average joe in Australia; I also get to see what all of Europe and America are coveting. The Internet may also give a helping hand. This coming season we've received our new collection and oh my god, be still my beating heart. Black and white seem to be the shades of the moment. Monochrome is making a statement and by wearing it you are too. Not only is Zara on this bandwagon but so is Topshop, Sydney's two leading european brands (they could also be the only leading european brands, but who am I to assume).
Personally i'm all for this monochromatic trend, I mean my whole wardrobe consists of blacks and some whites. It's such a good feeling when you see a monochromatic outfit done right, I mean your are on the tipping scale of looking like a waitress sometimes. Either way this trend has embedded itself into my heart and it won't be moved or removed any time soon. All i'm waiting for now is winter, so I can get my camouflage on!
